No flames here bro! I love the looks of that car. If I had the cash I would get one too! I think its pretty funny how some guys are about cars.. "Its Mustang or nothing" Its (whatever car) is the only one that matters. I love all cars and see each one for its strengths and it weakneses. So I will stand with ya on a Mustang site and say... that new chevy is gonna be bad ***!

The new camaro is definitely going to be getting some dorky *** m-f'ers straight up LAID. It's a very hot looking car.
Transformers was such a total nerdgasm. The movie SUCKED and ROCKED at the same time. The editing room floor must have been a war zone of missed cues and bad acting from otherwise hot cheesecake.

New Camaro is going to be sweet but if you think you will be getting one for 35k sticker think again. Just like any movie car it drives up the price. If the Carmaro doesnt sell that well Cheby will drop it again unlike the Mustang which is a true american icon that will never die. Apple pie= Mustang = America, image is more important than hp considering that most sales are in the v6 section.

I also like the looks of the new camaro. Venom is right about the price. I have a feeling they will sell really well the first year of production due to the hype and then fade out because your average hard working person can't afford them. I also believe that Ford needs to figure out a way to either drop some weight on the 2009 stangs or increase the power because LOTS of average cars have 300hp nowdays....they might not have the torque of the mustang.

Yeah bumblebee definatly took car of barricade. But that's allright. Next transformers movie is already in the early stages of production. and barricade survived the last movie, so maybe they will get a rematch
and if anything thinks they are getting one of those new camaros for under 45k they are smoking crack.
lol

+1. I've already had a few people I know claim they are "buying one as soon it comes out". This of course, was back in like 02'-03'. When the camaro was supposively coming out in 06'. I saw it at the Detroit Auto Show, and there's just no way that things goes for under 40k.

It sure is. If ford could just figure out away to cut back on the weight of the new mustangs we wouldn't need an *** load of power to keep up with the Chargers/Camaro's ect....

I'm gonna laugh when people come back from the dealership with the new camaro and then realize for the price they just paid, they could have had a new vette instead. hahaha. New vettes are going for around 50-55k or so, not to bad in my book.
Lets see $40-45k for 400hp and 3600-3700lbs
or
$50-55k for 405hp and 3100lbs.
Hmmm, tough decision..

just greed, plain and simple by the Automakers. we all know damn well it doesnt cost that much to make a car with that kind of power.

I would take the new Camaro over a new vette anyday. I drive on the street, streets with miles per hour signs that read 25, 35, and at most.... 70... the new Camaros have pleanty of HP for my taste.

and stanggurl, who do you think will be driving around in the new camaro? Mostly older guys driving slow with their kids or wives. For the price that it will be, the older guys will be the ones who can afford it. Look at the GT500, how many young people do you see driving those around?
