Online Gamers

Alright NoK, here we go;
Using "Peabody, MA" from your profile, I found that there's an EBGames in Peabody, MA at this address:
300 Andover Street
Peabody, MA 01960
Their phone number is (978) 532-5511
Now while I couldn't find the "Official Sony PS2 Network Adapter" for sale thru EBGames.com, they do have the "Nyko Universal Online Kit" which has a product description of; "All you need for online gaming is in this box. All you need is a modem, your system and a internet connection. Don't trip over cables running all over your home! Use the mounting clips to attach cables to the wall or ceiling and keep them out of the way." It is also CAT5 and RJ45 capable. That store above has 1-3 units in stock as of last night, and it goes for $29.99
Now, Amazon has 4 of the Official Sony Adapters, http://www.amazon.com/Sony-Playstati.../dp/B000051QDD but they start at $69.99. For myself, I'd just as soon trade in the "big brick" PS2 console towards either a slim style used one for $99.99 or a new slim style one for $129.99, both from EBGames. Hell, if you're part of ther Edge program, you'd even get an extra 10% trade value on your brick PS2 console, and also get 10% off the price of a used slime style PS2.
Hope this helps you out some what.

anybody want to buy an almost totally unused slim PS2 with a couple games and 1 8mb memory card? I NEVER play the damn thing.
I'm more into the hacked Xbox and all my old NES games.... ps2 has played 1 hour of GT3 and played 1 movie... other than that it sits powered off.
