Default US Bank won't give my $62 back...

ok so here's the story..

2 weeks from friday i seemed to have overdrawn my account. I do all my banking online and it never showed negative when they said i overdrawed it, so I dunno. I guess I had a check out and didn't realize it, but none the less my electronic deposit from work fixed it liek on the same day apparantly. But US Bank still charged me THREE overdraft fees of $31 each. So I was like WTF? cuz like I said.. i didn't even realize it or see it online. So I called them and the woman was super rude and was like "we already credited back two of those overdraft fees to you" and I was like "well im not really sure what happened, but I've NEVER overdrawn my account ever, and I never seen my account go negative online and I check it throughout the day" and she just says to me there's no way shes going to credit back the 3rd fee. So I say fine and hang up. A week goes by and I STILL dont have credit for the 2 overdraft fees she said she was going to give me credit for.

So I call them up and say hey.. it never registered that you credited those back. The woman says.. yeah it did i can see it right here on my screen. i tell her its not showing up in my online account and i totalled everything up andt he money is still missing. she says its there and to recheck. so i just think fine.. ill give them the benefit of the doubt, and i look at it again. the money is not there. normally when they credit back overdraft fees it shows as a deposit. there's no reverse overdraft fees. so i called them again and they told me to check again that it was there. so now two weeks have pissed and i still dont have my ****ing 62 dollars. I mean WTF? I just want my damn money back lol. So I'm printing my statement from onlien and going down there after my eye doctors appt in the morning. If they dont fix it ill just close my account and go to a different bank. This just pisses me off..

anyone else have these problems?

Suntrust FTW! I've overdrafted my account like 3 times and there's no fees. Plus they have free checking with a Visa check card.

Thumbs up

I bank with wamu, and i could not be happier! I've had them for over 5 yrs or so and in that time i've overdrafted my account about 3 times and they were kind enough to let it slide! The customer care is super friendly so i can't complain!

Ive got whackoffia (Wachovia for those of you who dont understand what I just typed)...they're not too bad. I overdrafted my account twice (didnt realize I wasnt getting paid as much as I thought I was), and they charged me the fees...but overall their customer service is really good in helping me w/ any problems I have encountered, be it w/ my check card or anything else.

So here's an update..

I went to my local US Bank branch and talked to a guy I actually know. He looked at my account and said they did credit me the 2 overdraft fees and printed my account info and said he didnt' know why they were showing up online. So I was satisfied and went home and looked at the print out. I then noticed they actually didn't charge me 3 overdraft feest hey charged me FIVE overdraft fees. So I was extremely pissed off cuz the whole time they've been lying to me. They told me I was getting all 3 removed when in reality there was ****ing FIVE. So I go back to the bank and they make me talk to one of the "personal finance" bitches. She was rude (why are banking people ALWAYS rude?). She told me that just because they told me they would remove them doesn't mean they have to or some ****. I was like "WTF??? IS THIS HOW YOU RUN YOUR BUSINESS?" She wouldn't remove them either.. she said I had "reached my limit on overdraft removals." Then she tried to sell me some overdraft protection credit. And I just said to her "I've NEVER overdrawn before.. this was a complete accident and I fixed it the very same day it overdrawn." She just kinda shrugged and then said something about my credit card being almost maxed out. I was like WTF SHUT YOUR FACE FAT BITCH. Ok I didn't say that but I wanted to. I'm like 2 seconds away from closing my ****ing account with them. ****ing ********.

i would have said it! cuz if someone gets nasty with me i get 100x worse than them, and it usally works. im telling ya make a scene when they get rude with you especally when there are other customers around cuz then they will try to make everything right cuz they dont want other customers to be like damn the Customer service blows.

wow... i love my new bank ... Bank of America FTW and they are everywhere man... and they seemed nice enough to me (maybe because I was never in there to correct anything) There practices are fair and I have some type of overraft protection... instead of overdrafting it draws from my savings... I assume you dont have a savings that is linked christie?

u should set up the overdraft protection, even if u overdraw ur acct depending on there policies youll get a 10$ o/d fee but its better then 31$ for bouncing a check, im at pnc and commerce (i work at pnc also) and use to work at commerce so any fee i get i have refunded even if its 1.50 for goin to a diff atm lol

**** 'em...go back in and demand all your money and that you are closing your account. period, no discussion...its final. and when they ask you why tell them you never really liked assclowns anyways and monkey's keep track of bananas better than they do with money. then go find yourself a nice new bank or credit union, most have online access, and enjoy your freedom.

My wife ditched US Bank after we moved to ATL. They tried to charge her $10 for a returned bank statement fee. WTF is a returned statement fee. I mean all they really lost was postage, and it damn sure didn't cost $10.

My wife had already changed the address with them and also had USPS mail forwarding in place long before we moved. The fact that they didn't have any ATMs down here made the decision a no brainer.

That has no effect on your credit score
