Graphic Artists: Challenge/Contest and rewards
Yep you read right. I need some graphic designers to build a logo for a pal of mine. He owns a good size datacenter management company and we want a new logo.
You will, create us a test logo to our specifications. You'll get a nominal reward for it if and only if it's selected (about 100 bucks). If you are the selectee, you will be given all the contracts for future graphics needs for the company.
The company is one of my sponsors so we really need a top notch design that'll catch attention while I'm racing.
What we're looking for basically is a monkey of some sort (no great ape family... must be a monkey) hanging from a 4 post server rack (google it if you don't know what those are) with a drill in one hand, wearing khaki slacks and a polo shirt with the corporate logo placed cleverly into the frame. This is the logo for the "cage monkeys" (semi-skilled workers who do all of the actual buildouts for us of large server clusters in racks/cages) so the monkey's name is appropriately Cage D. Monkey
If you're interested in trying let me know. This is best left to the pro's cuz we'll have some pretty specific requirements for numbers of colors and such.
