Time of my life yesterday.....
So, here is how yesterday morning started. Me and the wifey got up at around 10:00 and dreadfully realized that we seriously needed to clean the house. Kids were with my mom, so that was our perfect oppertunity to get it done. (BTW: WE had a poker party Sat night, thus the vast amount of empty beer/liquor bottles sitting everywhere). So, I fix a bowl of Cap'n Crunch, and the phone rings, it's my friend Chris......
Me: "Hello"
Chris: "Drop what you are doing and get to Road Atlanta"
Me: "Can't gotta clean up"
Chris: "**** that, don't you want to ride in a C6 around the track"
Me: *click* "Honey, sorry, but I can't help clean, I gotta go blah,blah,blah
SO, I get to road atlanta, and Chris' brother in law is real good friends with a lady that is one of the Marketing people for GM. So, we pull up and there are a bunch of C6's (suppose to be Z06's, but they didnt want to run those). And we register for some hot laps. WE get to the waiting point and come to find out the driver was Jimmy/Timmy (a lemans driver, can't remember his whole name). BTW: Hooters was a cosponsor of all this, so the secnery was that much better)
I sit down in the car, and the dude is like "You ever done this before?" I said "no" and he said "me either" and at that point, smokes the **** out of the tires and we are off!
Those new C6's are freaking badass! we were hauling *** around hairpins, and it took all the force I had on the floorboard, and a pillar to hold my self straight! We got up to 175 on the straight away, and slammed the brakes down to 80mph in about 50ft. I could not imagine doing this for a living! My adrenaline was freaking pumping like hell!
After the laps, my friend asks if we want to go drive a H2 on an offroad course!!!! Duh! Hell yeah....So we get up to the course (3 hooters girls rode in the van with up.......nice!!). Pull up and see a line of hummers coming off the course. Covered in mud, and I was all giggity (was thinking oricingally it was just going to be some simple dirt road in the woods).
WE get in, without instructors. They tell us, "ONly 2 things, 1 don't jump the H2's, and 2 there is a radio on station 2 if you have a problem".....HELL YEAH! I get to drive a brand new H2 (the one I drove had 13 miles on it), and it's not my car, so I can give this bitch hell!
This course was amazing, it was just like some Road and Track stuff. Hill climbs (straight up and down, and up and down hills), slolom pits, log course, creeks, mud pits, tight cornering, and all. That was insane!
I'll have pics up tomorrow of all of this! It was truly one of the best times I have had in a long time!

Oh, and one more thing, I got my springs put on Saturday. 1hr 40minutes, and an 18 pack of beer between me and my cousin!
Those springs completly changed the look/ride, I love them!!!! (pics of those coming as well).
