help me decide
I have a 96 GT, pacific green coupe. I will be replacing a bunch of body parts and painting it, same color. I am going to be using a 4" harwood hood, but not sure about the rest, help me decide:
1. Saleen front bumper/sides/rear
2. Saleen front and rear with shaved skirts
3. Saleen front with a v6 rear
4. Stock all around
5. Stock front with v6 rear (so it says mustang not mustang gt)
The front has to be replaced no matter what, my stocker got tore up when some *** backed into my car and left when I was in a bakery. Also, should I buy fiberglass bumpers, or urethane? My father does body work/paint for a living for Con Edison( biggest power supllier in NY state) so that wont be costing me a dime

Dean....nevermind I cant even think of anything funny.
Tommy....I was going to, but I am on a VERY limited budget and cant afford to do it the right way so that it would last...so I'm playing with nitrous instead!
Islander....Thats what I was leaning towards, which sucks because it is 2x as much, but I know it will prep better, look better, and hold up longer.

Well, I am sticking with a stock front bumper...dont have the money to get the parts and have them painted, but I picked up a new front bumper for a great price FREE...so it will be all stock, with the Harwood hood, no wing, and instead of the ugly gt4.6 badges I am sticking the runny pony with the stripes on there, and shaving the ford emblem off the trunk lid too.

looks like a damn nice place though...thanks for the info. I think my dads boss is going to let us pull his 68 camaro drag car out of the heated garage and set up a temp spray booth in there. Thats actually where my dad sprayed that camaro and it has won best in show in numerous shows. My dad sprayed it with straight PPG black, no mixed in colors, looks a mile deep!

HAHAHAHA sad part is I already looked into it, and thought about doing it. Not sure though, I could use that 60 bucks on the new bushings I need for my controls arms so I can install them (90 total, but close enough)

You are definately right. The nitrous wont be on the car for a while, probably not until next season. The looks though, someone hit my car when it was in my driveway....so the body has to be worked on. All I have to buy is the hood and side scoops, and the paint. Have everything else, and I got the front bumper for free.
