Jon, I dont blame you for running, i'de do the same! Think about it...your doing 100mph, your going to jail anyway if you get caught so why not give them h*** and make the cop try harder. Just hope he doesnt have a video camera, they can use that to find you! Most states i think you got 24 hours if it's state police. But then again they have to prove it was YOU driving the car and verify the tags. I already know this, I ran awhile back here in Va and got busted...another cop was coming from the other direction so shut it down. 5days in jail, $500 fine, 100hours comm. service. It's not worth running if your doing something minor like 20over or spinning tires, but almost double the speed limit...yea your already in for it so enjoy it and take a chance...you only live once!!!

I ran from the cops once only b/c i had a kinda excuse. I was going down the highway going about 110ish and i fly by this cop sitting the opposite direction in the median. He didn't turn his lights on untill I was completly side by side so basicaly if i wasn't paying attention and looking at him i would have never seen him put his lights on. Then he flipped a bitch and tried chasing me but he never had a chance from a dead stop but I got of at my exit which was about 1/2 mile ahead. Plus if he cought me i would've been like i never saw you officer. At this point i would have been fvcked.

And, instead of the word excuse, I think he was just using that for a lack of a better term, which would be 'reason'. And the reason why he ran was I guess that he had already passed the cop going 110MPH, which automatically makes you F***ed either way, so why not try to get away.

I did the same thing coming home from school about a week ago. I was taking a friend home and did a burnout in-front of his house and just sped off. I was on a state-route (55 MPH limit) going about 110, then decided I better slow down. There was this big truck on the other side of the road, coming at me and this cop was right behind him. The cop was right on his *** because I didn't even see the cop until he was about 50 ft in front of me. He flipped on his lights and I thought for a split second on whether I should run but I would've been ****ed royally because he would've got me. I've got the limiter on my car still so I can't go faster than 115 anyhow. He clocked me at 76 so it wasn't as bad as it could've been, but that's still 21 over. I ended up getting a ticket and I have to go to court this coming Tuesday to see how much it is and whether my license is going to be taken away (just got it last month). Plus side is that I get out of school all day when court isn't going to take long at all.
