Was It Something I Said?
So, my wife and I sat down with each other a couple of weeks ago, to go over our finances. She told me we really couldn't afford to buy beer anymore and that I'd have to give up drinking it from now on. I reluctantly agreed.
Then yesterday, I see a Macy's shopping bag on the dining room table, and see she spent $65.00 on make-up. I asked how come I had to give up stuff like my beer, but she apparently doesn't have to give up anything.
She said she needed the make-up so that she would look pretty for me.
So I asked her, "What the hell do you think the beer was for?"
(No, this isn't for real. It's a joke that someone just sent me.)
