Hey guys, havn't posted here in a while with college and everything, but I have a question for you guys so here goes:

I was driving home from FSU a couple of days ago in the stang and was making pretty good time. Its a six hour drive from FSU to my house and about 40 minutes away from my house I got pulled over! DAMN! Was going 85 in a 70.Luckily I had a really cool cop.The cop pulls me over and after asking me a few questions about where I was going and such, basically tells me that he has to give a ticket since I was going 15 MPH over the speed limit, but is willing to reason with me. Instead of giving me a speeding ticket that would be like 180 bucks, he asks me what he should give me a ticket for. He asked about the tint on my car, but I said it was legal. So i said that everyone says my exhaust is loud and he says hell give me a ticket for that (even though my exhaust is stock lol). The ticket he gave me was only for $75.00 bucks. As he gave me the ticket he also said I had two options. Pay the fine, or go to some place and get it expected by an officer. My question is does this ticket give me any points on my license?? I dont think a fine for an exhuast violation would include points but I wasn't sure. The ticket says if I just pay the fine, I still will get points, if applicable... So my biggest question is whether or not you get any points. Also, if anyone has ever gotten a ticket for too loud of an exhaust, how is the process of getting a cop to check your exhaust to see if it is legal work???

thats a fix-it-ticket there is no points on that, its not a moving violation. Go to the police station or call and ask where you can go to get it checked out and since your exhaust is stock you will pass no problem and dont have to pay the fine.
