Default Lost my wallet...

Yeah it finally happened. I lost my wallet at a bar last night. I only had about 5 bucks in cash but my credit cards in there, debit card, car insurance stuff, health/dental/perscription stuff, bank account number, my EMT certification stuff, hell i even had my card stamped enough at the local pizza place so my next visit was free! I also had 3 free washes at one of the dealerships. Not that it really matters, I work at one myself. I should goto all of those locations and ask when my card was used and ask for video survalience and hand it to the police. Thats a felony, isnt it?

Well, whoever has is has racked up 1300 dollars on my gold card at walmart, gas stations, mcdonalds, and walgreens. Luckily my buddy works at a bank and can straighten me out. I called him up and let him know so ive got some things to take care of. I got all cards canceled. But yea I had a lot of important stuff in my wallet.

well i looked in the bar, came home and went to sleep. woke up and checked my bank status, and the guy spent 1000 bucks. I refreshed after i got off the phone with visa, and it went up to 1300. Im not liable for the spending but it sucks loosing that stuff. it takes forever to get it all back.

Id bash his ****in skull in if I caught him.

Yeah, that does suck. It's a federal crime actually. Bank fraud, credit card fraud. State charge could be a range of things from theft to gaining property by false pretenses. One way you can help yourself out next time, is put a note in with your bank that you don't want your cards to be accepted for ANY purchases without a photo ID being presented.

When you report it to the bank they will find the places where it was used and then look @ the survellance. Then they will prosecute him and he will be in jail for a really long time with some heavy *** fines.

$1,000 at Wal Mart:

(in my best redneck voice)
" Hunny, we's gonna throw that thar biggest party our trailer park has ever seen!"

That sucks dude! But, on a good note, Wal Mart has a **** ton of cameras so they should be able to track them down.

Not to pour salt in the wounds, but why didnt you cancel the cards right after you went back to the bar to look for it? The card companies have 1-800 numbers that are open 24 hours.

Someone using your **** is almost as bad as having your car keyed. Your pissed as it is but then you get even more mad that you don't have anywhere to point that anger. >=-|

I didnt think some dumbass would go on a spending spree with my credit card. I gave the benefit of the doubt and thought someone would turn it in.
