AN EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM CDT THURSDAY.

AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES WILL SOAR INTO THE 100 TO 104 DEGREE RANGE WITH HEAT INDICES FROM 105 TO 113 DEGREES DURING THE AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING. SIMILAR OR EVEN SLIGHTLY WARMER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED FOR THURSDAY AFTERNOON. LITTLE RELIEF IS EXPECTED DURING THE NIGHTTIME HOURS AS OVERNIGHT LOWS WILL LIKELY REMAIN THE MID TO UPPER 70S WITH EVENING HEAT INDICES REMAINING IN THE 90S.

 

God lance that really sucks ***. I thought the 100 degree temps we got in Orlando or the 103-105 we got in the Keys was bad.
