anybody know which thread was it about a guy who made his own cold air intake? A buddy of mines just bought a 00 GT and he's a cheap *** so i thought about the thread i saw on here a few months back? Anybody know what i'm talking about?

Dont know where it is but it probably wouldnt be too hard. Just buy some rubber fittings and a piece of pvc pipe. Get a bent pipe and pup the filter in the fendewell...

 

Yeah it was on this board... ..and if i remember correctly it was just a big *** air filter attatched right after the maf attached with a clamp...i'm not very sure though...i wish i remembered the name of the thread.....

you might be talking about my thread where i modified the cold air intake. I had a 9" filter clamped onto the end after the maf. but i started with a mac cai and modified that.
