If someone beat an R1, more than likely the R1 was toying around with them / rider was inexperienced / the rider was scared.

 

Ive only got beat by one bike so far and that was some kind of custom made chopper where his back tire was as big as both of mine combined. Thing was sick. Ive raced some other ricer bikes and beat them pretty good with a few that gave me a run. I can't say what they were as i don't know much about bikes and didn't stop to ask.

 

Yeah custom choppers run 250's most of the time, but some run 300 + wide rear tires. I dunno what you're racing, but most of what I see is bikes stomp cars alot of the times because of the sheer acceleration of the bikes.
