Default O/r Prochamber Or O/r H Pipe?

im buying a new midpipe and am wondering if i should go with an o/r h or o/r prochamber. its about a hundred bucks more for the prochamber. i need to know quick cuz im about to buy tonight. dont wanna drive around with a clogged pipe for too long. my bro has a o/r h so i kno what that sounds like. does anyone know how hte prochamber sounds and if its worth it?

what cat-back and/or mufflers do you have?

I'd go with the H just because the chamber creates a drone at highway speeds, but otherwise sounds deep, the H is only REally Really loud at WOT, and raspy.

Eh, depending on the mufflers, youll have drone with both. Ive had quite a few muffler setups with the prochamber, and without a doubt, the ONLY muffler that should be combined with them is a chambered one. It just sounds BADASS with Mac (preferred) or Flowmasters. I feel the same way about an off road too, so forget that arguement. Youll have a little more torque with a prochamber, as you dont lose ALL of your backpressure. Next time though, I think ill try an off road H. I LOVE my Mac catback though, no other catback will see my car.

H? raspy?

you can't be serious...

Xpipes are the raspy ones...

An h-pipe complimented with a chamber muffler will sound great... they give a more muscular sound...

Go h

Right here at Mt. Think they are like 49 bucks or so. Or you can search all the other forums classifieds to see if you can find a used set.

I gotta agree with you on that. For a mid pipe, it's a toss up between the SLP catted H or the prochamber. I like the SLP 'cause I plan on getting LT's in the future. That will be no sooner than next spring though. I've heard the pro chamber on a MAC catback and I love it.

Yea, itll be fine, just dont do it for too long, because if something else goes wrong, you wont know cause the CEL will already be on.
