Default Drove an 06 today...

And Oh. My. God. Thank you ford, for making me want to empty my savings account on a mongoose...This car...was AMAZING. For all of you who havent driven one, and have just been listening to what others have said, about it not being fun, or any faster than the 99-04's...shame on you, and even more so, shame on THEM. This car is sick, now, I drive a MAYBE 270 hp car, this was 300. And oh my, what a difference it makes. I have 3.73's, and this car STILL made mine feel slow. My car honestly felt like a pig b*tch when I got back in it. The fun begins in the upper rpm, and this car will be doing 85-90 before you know whats going on. The whole car really let me know JUST how old and tired mine is, and damnit, I want a newer one now. Suspension could use a set of springs and some subframe connectors, but wow. Just wow. Oh yea, and the shifter is like silly putty, but that can be fixed. Wow, yea, Go drive one and see for yourself.

A guy at work has one and its auto. He says that it literally never quits making power to redline and it accelerates great. I want to ride in one and possibly drive one soo bad.

Everytime I test drive something I get a new payment book. I looky no touchy. I'd take one in a heartbeat but wouldn't trade mine for an 05gt straight up.

My boss has an 05 GT and I've driven it quite a bit and I'm pretty impressed with it.....The first few times I drove it I still had my 03 GT Vert and it felt much stronger than my car even with a lot of boltons. The 05 pulls pretty good all the way through the rpm range and the 3 valves respond pretty damn good to simple mods. I still think they look big and feel heavy!
