If you want one you gotta pay for it.
Don't you have a credit card?
I just had my Novi 2000 installed, $5500.
I know that sounds like a lot, but I live in the NYC Metro area, everything cost more here. But like I said, I wanted one, so I paid for it.
Chris Winters from Crazy Horse Racing in S. Amboy did the work, he's a real pro, does a lot of tech articles for MM&FF magazine.
The man got it to put out 411 rwhp, 386lbft torque.
Thats damn near 500hp at the motor, and we're not even completely finished tuning it yet!!!
I've had my car for 4 years now, and to all you guys who are just starting out, forget about all those boltons that don't do a lot, I dumped more than 5K into my car before I saw the light and had her supercherged.

If I had to do it all over again this is what I'd do.... S/C, gears, subs because I have a vert, exhaust and and aftermarket shifter.
The rest of the stuff is just gravy.
Hey bro, this thread is over a year old and i think old jack has abandoned the supercharger idea in favor of his new family.

This lexus that beat you, what was it?

I know of a camry thats running low 12's without slicks, and has subwoofers and all this **** in the back.

I have a 94 Lexus ES300 thats sitting in my driveway. Its fairly fast stock, always thought of twin turbo-ing it, but i decided to go american and get a stang. Always loved them.

And there always will be a car thats faster..

OK I didn't know that.
Anyway, you can get away with a little more HP with a centri than you can with a twin screw or roots, reason being you aren't putting such a heavy load on an engine that's not turning so fast. That instant power you get with the latter two will kill a high HP motor before a centri will.
With a centri at least the internals are already moving faster, so less stress on the parts.
