def was cruising around with a friend in my lil ol' GT...and a SRT-4 still with temp tags, tv in his center area + gauges, he wants to race me, his hint to racing was just stepping on it alittle and showing me up...

long story short...didnt race cause i knew i was gonna lose

SO,,,,,,,,you guys only race people you know you can beat? Whats the point of that? When I used to cruise in my iroc, 5.0's beat me all the time, but every now and then I'd take one down. If you get beat, mod the car, race again and see what happens. BTW: street racing is illegal

 

thats y i didnt race its illegal plus i woulda got my *** handed to me, so i killed 2 birds with 1 stone (not racing and not getting my *** beat at the same time!) lol

and he stll had temp tag, with a mini tv, gauges, rims + more i bet...lol sum1 had money

Guy in an SRT-4 + Temp tags ='s big ***** who is afraid of hurting the car and won't rev past 4500 rpms

But, if you have this situation:

Guy in an SRT-4 + Temp tags + my mommy bought it ='s I don't giove a crap about this piece of **** Neon 'cuz when I brake it I will just get another

Then, you are screwed.

From a roll to 50 mph, you can compete with these things, but on the highway, that little turbo is tough on us n/a guys.

There is no substitute for displacement except for a blower. This si exactly the reason why I bought a s/c.

he probably would of ate you alive anyways. those srt-4s are pretty quick when you start adding things to them. ive raced 12 second srt4s at the track. Ill tear them up off the line but they come screaming by me after the 1/8 at 100 mph and finish off at 120+

 

I can honestly say i bought mine for looks. Srt-4's might just be neons, but there not too bad of cars. They look mean as hell and are pretty quick.

 

yea, it was nice..black with black chrome lip rims and i was even watching his tv while i was near him

my friend has a v6 and said he woulda just done it for fun....

I just don't understand the point of them though? they aren't a Rally car, they've tried to play the circut but they just aren;t comp. for the WRX and Evo's... and then on the Road tracks they're nothing special...so really whats the deal...if i was guna go with a inline four light weight car i'd go with something AWD...not some FWD going outa business car...

 

it was just dodge's dying attempt at competeing with the hot compact import market... they forgot about one the biggest factors - looks/styling... if you ask me those things are ugly as f**k
