just curious, why do people buy new seats. They seem like they are really only necessary if you are gonna race on a road course but i have no idea. I think the stock ones are pretty comfortable.

Ask me the same question when youve been in a mustang with normal seats compared to a mustang with aftermarket seats.

Those seem to be greatly priced! I wouldnt mind a pair.

Well ill give you an idea... Our seats suck *** compared to something that is going to hold you in. When you have aftermarket seats that hold you in, instead of slide you around like OEM seats, you are able to feel out your car and know more what its able to do and not because you arent fighting to stay up or hold yourself and steer at the same time.

corbeau uses their own brakets, and so does sparco i believe. So youd pay to hack into those too. Id check out ebay for new seat sliders.

i dont care if they are heavy or there are more comfy ones out there... i just like em...

same thing with steering wheels n stuff... i would never buy a new steering wheel... that has always blown my mind why people buy those...
+1

If there's any interior mod out there that SCREAMS aftermarket, it's seats. They all look SOOOOOOOOOO tacky and out of place. I LOVE my stock seats and only want new stock ones because mine are worn.
