Default Matched tires?

How mnay people have unmatched tires? Well i must confess that i do, but its because of traction puposes. I wanted Nittos out back but didnt like the tires that go up front. No i have 285 Nittos out back and 265 Kumhos' up front.

Just wondering what everyone thought of two different brands of tire on a car.

I match. I dont see it as any kind of deal if there are street radials like nitto 555rs on back and another on front. It seems kind of pointless to have 2 normal tires on front and 2 different ones on back unless its aiding in traction.

I use to have kumho supras up front and eagle zr45s in the rear. Only 'cause my girlfriend popped the other eagles. I just bought supras for the rear...275s.

I personally would always get matched, but I'm just **** about things like that. Same with exhausts, get everything to match, i feel it's designed for that purpose.

the only tires I wouldn'y get the same, but somewhat similar is the Nitto. Nitto 555R out the back and then the 555 street on the front

ive got kumho supra 245 (front) and kumho supra 275 (back). but i dont think theres anything wrong with two different tires front and back. most likely the reason you will have the setup like that is for traction. traction > looks
