Well to put them underground you have to move them to a place so you can put them into the ground.

Im referring to the caravans that should have been seen moving stuff from A to B.

true. but its also possible they have been underground the entire time. built underground, stored underground, in silos. Chico, CA, were i live, has the worlds smallest underground nuclear missle facility (now nonoperational). but, it was all completely underground. there is no trace of it above ground.

Bunker Busters were created here in my home town at Eglin Airforce Base. They do all the testing down the road. Man is it cool feeling those things go off. They even did an exercise where all the water vehicles came across the gulf and came across the road with the troops with guns in hand. It was F-in awesome seeing those things rollin' across the street.

Holy hell! You missed the entire point of that comment. That was my point. Of course, we should have run Hitler out of France despite the 40,000 that died! I was being sarcastic.

Hitler made the trains run on time too. After WWII Germany was a dissaster, but they got rid of a dictator. You guys need to grow some nuts and understand that these things take time. Nothing happens overnight when you are making big changes like this.

Sadam ran the country. His loss created an unbalance, you just need to decide if freedom is worth fighting for. I say "yes".

Ask your self this question:

Why would the government want to invade Iraq? What benefit was there supposed to be in making excuses to invade? How was GW supposed to benefit? The answer...NOTHING. NADA!

Either you believe that invading Iraq was in our best interests or not...it is that simple.

You listen way too much to the liberal blog type ideas. There won't be a draft. Iraq is going much better then the media would have you believe. They don't report good news there because it doesn't get the ratings like stuff blowing up does.

There is no proof that GW has lied about anything. It is more a matter of people on the left yelling loud enough about it for long enough that the lies sunk in

What's mazing is in some places the people couldnt even be having this conversation at all. I am military veteran and support our country and the ones serving it nomatter what. I think it's time everyone does and realize no matter who is president it's a different world we all live in today compared to 5 to 10 years ago....As far as a draft i don't see that happening but again if it means safety for our country and the future of it then hell yeah whatever it takes that is what makes the United States the best country

That is so true Blake.

This whole thread is pointless as our differences is what makes this country great and the fact that we can have different opinions and not get killed over it is testament to that. We are born free and its man that enslaves us. I always pray for the best whether its what I believe in or not as GOD will be the one who will judge all of us. This thread will never end so I proposed that we all pray to whoever you believe in that the best for our world happens. I have just said a prayer for my daughter to grow old and live a full life, she is 8 months now.

Just my two cents.
i agree 100%, i wouldnt like to see clinton, gore, or kerry handle 9/11. Bush is the right man for the job in our day

It seems pretty clear that the administration wanted a new strategic position in the region. Get our troops out of SA and into a more permanent, newly pro-US state. At least that is, in part, what they hoped for.

I respectfully disagree. Anyone in the presidency would have gone into Afghanistan. The pressure was too great to have done nothing.

Pres. Clinton was far more aggressive trying to fight terrorism than he is given credit for. He was more aggressve on terrorism than any of his modern predecessors. That said, he was hardly perfect and could have of course done more. It seems to be forgotten that the republican controlled congress blocked terrorist legislation and diverted attention with a laughable impeachment trail.

Pres. Bush, while now seen as 'always tough on terror', hardly ever mentioned terrorism pre-9/11. Had 9/11 or something like it never happened, I find it hard to believe he would have taken any sort of aggressive stand on terror.

I'm not trying to say that realistically 9/11 could have been prevented, whoever was in office. 9/11 clearly changed the way the US views the world and terrorism and what is acceptable to combat it.

"Someone who was in Desert Storm and who has met the President" - LOL

I am not gonna get all caught up in this thread, but I will say this:

#1 - Since 911 there is not been one single terrorist attack in the US.

#2 - Remember WWII? After Normandy and the Germans were kicked-out of France, over 40,000 French civilians were killed due to civil unrest and such during the next few months and years. 40,000! That is more then the total deaths during the invasion. So, I guess we should have just let Hitler keep Europe.

Do you know the difference between a Conservative and Liberal?

"Show me a 25 year old man who is NOT a Liberal and I will show you a man without a heart. Show me a 40 year old man who is NOT a Conservative and I will show you a man without a brain." - Winston Churchill

Whether you agree or you don't agree with him. meeting a sitting president must have been a thrill.

In regards to #1: That really doesn't prove much. There wasn't a terrorist attack on US soil from 93-01. Unless you count Oklahoma City in 95. Still that is longer from 9/11 to now. Plus attacks take a lot of time. Its not like terrorists decide on doing something and are able to carry it out in a week.

In regards to the Churchill quote, is GWB really a conservative??? You may disagree, but I think he clearly isn't, other than having that R next to his name which people associate with conservatism.

To answer that quesiton he's not as conservative as Rush Limbaugh, but he is not as liberal as his father was.

And actually..

"Show me a 25 year old man who is NOT a Liberal and I will show you a man without a heart. Show me a 40 year old man who is NOT a Conservative and I will show you a man without a brain." - Winston Churchill
What does that mean, I'm a cold-hearted bastard?
