If your car idles funny first check for air leaks. Check all the vaccum hoses cause they come off sometimes. make sure your intake is connected like it supposed to be. If all that doesnt help it then its prolly fuel related. Clean MAF sensor. Check to make sure that your fuel rail is bolted down and its not loose. change the fuel filter, then check the fuel pressure with a guage from autozone. If all that doesnt help then change your spark plugs......oh wait .. maybe you could have done that before you spent money on the fuel system....LOL

The only thing I saw was high idle, it this correct? As when the rpms went down and back up is when you hit the gas.

Well first of all... what the hell is that number on the odometer, I must be seeing **** because that looks like a tripledigit. Second of all, can't really help you, my engine usually idles at 500RPMs, but it likes to rev high and kick down low... but it only did it during the winter, so it might be as simple as that.

that is pretty much normal....it revs up high cause is cold out..and since the air is denser when its cold.....it should be up high as the computer figures out theres more air coming in than usual to put it in easier terms.....my g/f stang does the same thing....and it bone stock...and when i mean bone...i mean nothing at all has been done to it wat so ever its not anything to joke about...

That is 100% expected behavior. I suspect that the cause is, when it's hella cold your ECU tries to compensate in cold start mode by adding gas, trying to keep the idle smooth and warm up the engine faster. If you stab the gas you basically tell it to knock it off and release the choke cuz it's your turn to hold the gas down, and it should always comply.

My car usually idles about 1500 rpms. Then drops down to alittle under 1000. Its winter here so that may affect it. I cant wait the video cuz im on slow dial up.

Im running a 2000 Mustang V6 3.8L.
