i figured they were rubber like just about every other ford.

Just to let everyone know theres different fuel line disconnect sizes you need to get the 5/16. If you go with ampro it will be the red one.

I payed $14 tool and filter and did it in 10 min

Yeah no prob if I get this window switch in and before I start drinking something that may impair my driving.....

I change mine at 30k and yes, I pay someone. Avoiding gas on my driveway and my wife yelling at me is worth the $30 - LOL

Changed my fuel filter today (along with an oil change and a new belt...the stock one got dinged up when I did the pulleys), and the fuel that came out of the filter was FULL of dirt and crap. This was the first filter change and the car has 23000 miles on it. I think I'll start changing it out a little more often...

BTW, the tool, as said before, is an absolute must. Makes for a quick 5 to 10 minute job.
