Default wheel and tires

im thinking about buying 18x10s for the back and 18x9s for the front for my 1995 mustang, its not a gt or cobra just a regular mustang. the tires i will have are 285/35 on the back and 245/35 on the front...SO my question is, will i have any rubbing problems or any other problems related to this wheel/tire combination?

285/35 is a bit small but it will work. Thats about the smallest size you can put onto an 18x10. Reccomended size is a 315/30/18. As far as the 9" goes, those tires are far too small. you need to put a 275/35/18 on a nine inch rim. A 245 is designed for an 8" rim.

You wont have any rubbing issues that I am aware of, however, you might have to remove the quad shocks if they end up hitting them. Its really no big deal there, they really dont do much of anything at all.

I have 295/35's on my 18x10's (they were on sale for 110/each) and I have 265/35's on my 18x9's.

recommended on a 18X10 is 315? all tires ive looked at are recommended to have the smallest of a 10.5 inch wide rim for a 315. meaning bfg's, nitto, michelin, etc. 18x10 is recommended 295 and 305

To keep the height the same its best to go with a 315/30.

Trust me, it will fit fine. Ive seen LOTS of Cobras and GT's with 18" rims putting 315's on there.

Specification Sidewall Radius Diameter Circumference Revs/Mile Difference

315/30-18 3.7in 12.7in 25.4in 79.9in 793 -0.9%

The closest to stock height for those rims are the 285/35/18 and the 315/30/18. They will fit fine.
