Ok so I noticed this a couple times but under hard braking like watching out for an idiot driver, or trying not to run a yellow light, ive had my brake light come on untill the brake released to normal braking. Now I know for a fact my back brakes need to be replaced from when I did my gears, and I will be doing to cobra 13" brakes up front with SS lines, and rear pads and rotors within 2 weeks. Is this brake light just a warning that brakes need to be changed or could it be like a master cylnder problem? My ABS light isnt coming on either.

 

It usually comes on when your fluid is low or like you said your rear pads need replaced.I think that would affect your abs too but I'm not positive on that,I havent worked on an ABS system enough to be sure.I think once you change your pads you should be ok.Make sure you bleed your lines good too,it could also make your light go off if there is air in the lines.Hope this helped.

ya i had low brake fluid....had it changed n light went off
