Default Brake calipers?

I got a stuck piston on my driver side brake caliper. Is their anything that could fix it, or do I just have to replace the caliper? I been wanting some cobra brakes, but I just can't spend that kinda cash right now.

Have you tried to use compressed air to pop it out? If it is stuck, then it is probably stuck for a reason and the caliper needs to be rebuilt or replaced.

No, I have tried nothing cause I never heard of a way to fix one once it's stuck. I was just wanting to try and fix it till I could get the cobra upgrades.

if it's galled the walls of the bore you're hosed. They're usually pretty cheap used... replace. Rebuild is stupid easy though if it's still rebuildable. Sometimes the walls of the bore get all gummed up... parts cleaner (1-1-1-Trichlorethane) helps during the rebuild process.

I agree, rebuilding is very easy if the bores are clean and straight. If they are fucked up, then replace them.

Yes I am starting the "I need cobra brakes foundation fund" now. I just paid $300 to have my lt's put on, so I just slapped a new cheap set of pads on to get by for a little while.
