Default Cord in my trunk.

I have a 2000 mustang gt.

there is this cord in my trunk, and i have no clue what its for. My guess is some kind of audio thing or something, but maybe someone can help me out here.

crappy pic bud... I'm guessing from the look of the connector that it was for a relay that controlled something. Maybe a nitrous kit or a big amp. Should be fairly easy to trace.

take a better pic

Looks like a power plug for a trailer.. Do you see any evidence of a receiver hitch under the back of the car?

It could have been used for something else, but by the looks of it it really looks like a power hookup to power trailer lights or something similar.

I would have to agree, that's a plug for trailer wiring.

Can't beat what I saw today... saw an '01-'04 DSG GT driving down the road with a small rack attached to a trailer hitch holding a wheelchair. The poor thing was sagging in the back live no other. Dispicable.
