Do these things have lights? Do they fit on Verts?

Those mats do not come with lights but I suppose it wouldnt be too hard to add some custom LEDs into that since everything can be hid pretty easily. As for vert fitment, im not totally sure. Ive seen em on coupes and checked em out a little.

Bob thinks they fit in verts. So if it doesnt fit, blame him.

If anyone has one of these on a black car (black mat with the GT) let me know what you think. I think this would look really nice for shows and such.

Phil will make anything you can think of. Of course custom mats come at a higher price, but I've seen light up ones and everything. Does a convertible have a different trunk lid than a coupe?

Good question. I don't know. Is Phil a member here? I would love to talk with him about ordering a custom one through you guys. Perhaps he knows about the trunks on the verts. I may just order this thing the way it is if it fits.

Thumbs up

Hey fellaz,

This is my first post on the forum. I will be posting in the "New Member" section as soon as I find out how to link images into here. I think I see it now...that little yellow mountain looking icon huh? Oh well, anyway...

I just ordered this trunk lid mat last tuesday, 8.23.05, and Chris told me that they are shipped straight from the manufacturer so I'll prolly have it sometime next week. The price isn't really tooooooo bad considering the craftsmenship involved. I know I wouldn't be able to make something that nice (and simple) in a million years! I'll let yall know how it looks...it has to look damn good! The stock trunk is bare naked. I also plan on tapping into the trunk light wire and hooking up some blue LEDs that I got from Oznium.com. By the way, I just bought a black 2000 Mustang GT for 9k yesterday in almost "excellent" condition (there are a few scratches and swirls I can hopefully cure with ScratchX). You can take a peak at my ride in the new member forum section. I also have some questions on detailing which will also be posted in my intro thread. I just bough $130 worth of Meguire's products for the interior and exterior.

Any idea where I can get a hood mad like this trunk mat?

Nice site by the way! Happy to be aboard.

Matt

As long as your on the subject of the trunk mats, I want one for my 94 GT coupe. How come you don't have them for the 94-98 models? Thanks, T

Thanks Lance...sweet ride you got there. What does DSG stand for? "Dark Slate Gray"? How's the '06 Stang treatin' ya? Is the V6 better on gas for the '06? My GT guzzles gas like water. It's a good thing I have a bike too. I get around 50 MPG with a 4.2 gal. tank. It lasts me about 2 weeks. I got the bike before I met my GF (soon to be wife but she doesn't know this yet). If I hadn't I'd be walking to work lol.

Thanks SweetStangGT.DSG stands for Dark Shadow Grey. The 06 is sweet, not sure on how it's doing gas wise, weve gone almost 300 miles on a tank so far.My GT drinks gas too.I think it's because of the way I drive it anymore

That's not too bad at all. That's about 25-27 MPG. You'd probably get 29-30 on the highway...not a bad trade-off for a V6. I really hope that the SVT or Shelby comes with wider wheels (and an order of 17s too please) and a lower suspension. The rear end of the newer styles are too high for my taste and the wheels are too far inside the wheel well IMHO. There's just something missing that I hope is added for next years models. Or has the Shelby and SVT come out already? My dealer said late in '06...anyone else have any inside knowledge?
