Induction + Exhaust = Tuning?
Hi.
Posted a thread earlier for info on supercharging a 2010 Mustang GT. Supercharging has to be postponed unfortunately but am looking at a compromise with an axel back Flowmaster American Thunder exhaust and the new C & L cold air induction unit.
My question may seem a bit stupid but whilst both units say they do not require tuning, would the two in combination need it?
Any help again much appreciated.

I would not install them without a tune. It's a waste of money on the exhaust side unless you just want a sound improvement. The CAI is similarly worth dick and gets replaced when you do the blower. Honestly, I'd skip both. They're TERRIBLE uses of the 500 bucks. Save it and get the blower, i promise you'll be happier.

The axle back is for sound mostly you will not get much from it. However a Tuner/CAI combo is worth anywhere from 15-20rwhp on 93 octane.
Checkout this deal for a tuner/cai combo that is made by a real tuning company and not a reseller like AM.COM
