Default T-56 swap

how hard? how much? whose done it? i just found my T-45 syncro for 1st and Reverse is shot and will cost upwards of $900-$1000...so i thought why not score a T-56 from a wrecked Cobra? any suggestions? or should i just save my money and fix the syncro?

Just save the money and fix the synchro. The whole swap for a t56 is about 2500 bucks. Thats with you doing the labor. Its not really that beneficial either as they are heavier than the t45.
