Please help to diagnose a problem...
Check engine light popped on today.
For the last month or so when I start my car this sometimes happens. It sounds like theres water swishing back and fourth under the hood. Not really sure what it is.
Then sometimes when I go to back out of my driveway, when I put it in reverse, it almost sounds like its going to stall, but then sounds like its going into high RPMs and backs out kinda quickly.
When its rainy or damp out the swishing sound happens alot more than a normal hot sunny day.
I talked to my aunt and she says it might be the MAF Sensor or another sensor I forget what it was called.
What do you think?
And how much would it cost me to get this looked at to see why the check engine light turned on?

My car had one code.
This is what the autozone receipt thing they gave me said:
---------------------------------------------
OEM Number to Cross: P1443
TROUBLESHOOTING N/A
OEM Brand: FORD
Definition
BBEVAP canister purge valve mechanical fault or VMV
BBfault condition
Explanation
BBECM detected a fuel tank pressure change greater
BBthan a minus 7 inches of H20 in 30 Seconds with
BBpurge less than 0.02 lbs. per minute
Probable cause
BB1. - Failed EVAP pressure sensor
BB2. - Blocked hose between purge valve and FTP sensor
BB3. EVAP purge valve stuck closed
