Default Whining noise

I did replace the belt, brand new and much better. But today when I woke up not to long ago (long night, 21st Birthday yesterday) it's still whining or making whatever noise when it's cold and only if the clutch is pushed in. My friend just said it could be the belt isn't tight enough. When I bought the belt, the guy told me to tell my mechanic something, but I told him (I forgot what it is now) and I think he forgot to check it.
Any idea or help? My friend is also saying it could be the bearings of something. I don't think that's it because my car runs and starts perfectly fine, just the noise when it's cold for a few minutes.

i had somewhat of a similar problem on my 95gt. i have an auto but i had an squeak/whine problem with my belt. then i replaced the belt and it was still there when cold. i figured out it was steering fluid leaking onto my belt causing it to squeak. hopefully it isnt that but possibly try powerwashing under the car and/or near the belt(carefully)

is the powerwashing safe under the hood at max pressure or should it be low pressure?

Low pressure preferably but its not a MUST. . . . just be carefull around wires and hoses and connections.

I think I remember somebody saying once that a cheap belt could cause a whineing sound too. If thats not it, Check your belt tensioner. I just had to replace mine not to long ago. The bearing was going in it and it sounded like a crickett chirping. That was a quick and easy fix too. 1 bolt! LOL It was supper simple! But my money is on your BELT

It just might be the Belt Tensioner, not the only one who said it and my father think it's the bearing in the alternator (Spell Check) or something. Sorry, but I replaced the Belt already, brand new and my mechanic would have said something. He got to busy to find out the problem. I don't hear it now, but I did for a while after I replaced the belt.
