Hey I'm kinda new to the forum and spend about 2 hours lookin through a lot of the threads here and so far i'm lovin the expertese in here. my question is, i just got a 99 cobra about 2 weeks back, changed some stuff i wanted to like the oil n all, the shifter feels like crap so im going to get a new short throw from steeda. Of the two that American Muscle offers (Royal Purple Synchromax Manual Transmission Fluid and Royal Purple Max ATF Transmission Fluid) which should i go with for my 5 Speed. they both say for manual trannys but it also says consult the book, which isnt in the car cuz the moron lost it. What do you guys recommend?

It takes auto tranny fluid, weird I know, so get the ATF fluid one.

 

Which ever one that satisfies Mercon/Mercon V specs AND states it can be used in a manual trans. I personally run Redline GL-4 ATF.

 

syncromax worked for my T-45 trans great.

 

I use Amsoil Synthetic ATF.
