tranny fluid capacity

does anyone know how much fluid to add on a tranny service? im new to the boards , thanks a lot.(2001 GT auto trans

first, figure out which tranny you have. 01 was the year they switched from t45 to TR3650. One takes more than the other.

1) Check your owners manual.
if you don't have your owners manual...
2) Call Ford.
if ford isn't open..
3) Call an auto parts store.

Should be between 3.5 and 5qrts though.
