cleaning my bbk air filter

I have bbk coldair intake on my 06 mustang gt.Is the air filter cleanable?bbk has nothing.Does KN filter cleaner work?

The kn cleaner should work.

yes K&N cleaner kit will work fine...Ive used it on my Steeda CAI twice with no problems.

You can also buy a filter cover that robbed like 1-2rwhp off my cobra but I opted to be 1-2rwhp less and have a clean filter

Easier to brush dust and dirt off aprefilter then it is to clean out a filter

I just spray my filter out with a high pressure air gun, what do you guys do?

Same, then you need to oil it. Don't use the cleaner, honestly it's over rated....Just use the KN oil

You get the K&N filter cleaning and recharger kit that comes with a cleaner in a spray bottle, and a recharge oil that reoils the filter.
