Red face Stuck Socket

Well it suxs... I was changing my brake lines to J&M ones from AM and i noticed my sway bar link kit had the bushings all torn I really dont know if it was from the brake fluid that came into contact with the bushings or just wear and tear? Any who I got a socket stuck on the sway bar nut and i cant get it off . I tried beatin the living crap out of it prying it out and it wont budge especially since the bushings flex when I apply pressure. Any one know of how I can get it off?

Put the wrench back on it and pull up, but not straight up, use the handle as leverage. Just do that back and forth. I've gotten stuff stuck pretty bad but a hammer usually does the job.

I tried that but it didnt work bcuz everytime i try to move it the bushings from the link kit flex makin it useless. Hammering the crap out of it didn't help either.

Reattach the socket and try tightening the nut instead. Just don't actually tighten the nut, but do so until you notice the socket get free.

If it's you swaybar endlink then you need something like and open ended wrench at one and and a socket at the other, or a pair of locking pliers in the middle to keep it from turning.

Damn beating the **** out of it from all directions with a hammer didn't work? What about putting screw driver above the socket and hitting it with a hammer downward to chisel that bitch off? Could try using some wd-40.

Sounds like you stripped the threads. Time for the grinder or Sawzall.
