Tranmission Problem

Default Tranmission Problem
I have a manual trans v6 98 only like 97,000. The tranmission makes a whining sound through gears 1,2,3,and 5. It sounds kinda like some cars do in reverse. any comments on this?

my first though would be that the throw out bearing is bad.. that is what it sounds like to me...

when you push the clutch in does it go away? if so that's the throw out bearing.

Yeah thats what I figured it was just wanted to see if anyone else had any ideas
