Default 2004 Mustang will this cold air intake work with my car?

I have a 2004 V6 3.9L Mustang and I was wondering if anyone knew if this cold air intake (http://www.americanmuscle.com/muv6co...96999999999997) would fit/work properly in my car. I know it will work with the 3.8L versions of my car, but I'm not sure about the 3.9L versions. Thanks for the help!

haha, yeah, it'll work, but it seriously makes like 3 rwhp, so i'd save my money. and yeah, ur car is technically a 3.9L, but all the 3.8L stuff will work. lol.

JDank, everyone on here is gonna tell you this and its true, if you want to do an intake system, goto autozone or AM and get the KN Filter for 40-60 bucks or w/e it is and just take your silencer off (rubber thing that connect airbox and fenderwell..

im assuming GT and 04 V6 have same CAI setup.. not sure.

hmmm... that's an idea... is the K&N air filter any better than the air filter that comes with the cold air intake I posted?

p.s. I'm pretty sure the CAI for V6 and GT's are a little bit different, but not much.

The cost of the filter is almost as much as the cheap CAI setups found on ebay. Thats what I would get if I wanted one for the v6.

you would get the CAI or the K&N filter?

does anyone know if the K&N filter would be better than the filter that comes with the CAI kit?

I would get one of the super cheap eBay cold air kits. They sell them for as little as what 35bucks or something.
