Default v6 to v8 swap questions

alright im slowly starting to get parts together for a 5.4l swap(im excited im acctually making headway with this project, normally like to talk alot of "im gonna do this im gonna do that" but with no fallow through) i got a gt oil pan and pickup and i got an engine and transmission lined up just waiting for my paycheck, and the only other really big things im gonna need are a rear diff and a drive shaft or so i hope. the point of this thread is to find out what im gonna have to do for electronics. i was wondering :

is the ignition system tied into the factory ecu or can i just buy an msd ignition system so i can set it and forget it?

with a tuner can i set up a new MAF to compensate for the much larger amounts of air?

are there going to be any crank position sensors, or throttle position sensors, etc problems that im gonna have to deal with?

and what about o2 sensors i could just cancel them with a tuner but id really like to be warned if im running too rich or lean or anything like that?

Any help would be appreciated and if you can think of any other issues that would be great too

If you do this and the price is right I might be interested in your v6 motor how many miles does it have on it

I wouldn't want the motor for a little bit yet anyway and I guess the miles don't matter that much cause i'm going to redo it with forged everything. If this works out

the motor wouldn't go in my car for at least a year

If I were you, just pick up the whole wiring harness+PCM out of a GT from a junkyard or ebay. You might be able to use some of the sensors from the 5.4 (crank, cam) but basically everything else would be for a GT.
