transmission swap question

my 2000 v6 is in need of a new transmission, i found someone parting out a 99 gt, does anyone know if the transmission off that car will fit on mine?

99 and 00 were quite similar....it SHOULD fit with no questions i believe.

what did you do to your tranny anyways?

the bellhousing on the v6 is different then the mod motor cars. However the bellhousing on the T-5s anf T45s are swappable so you can take that off your v6 and move it to the gt T45.
