Default rear-end and manual transmission swap?

I have a friend that totaled his car last weekend the whole front is gone. I was talking to him about if I can buy the rear end and put it on my stang his car is a 2003 gt with 3.73 and transmission is a manual my question is if it is easy to swap the transmission from his to my? And when I get the rear-end get the whole thing I mean everything?

The rear end should be pretty simple to swap, I am not well knowledged on the tranny swap, but you will want to obviously grab the transmission, the pedal assembly for the clutch and there are some other odd's and ends. Try searching on 3.8mustang.com I know that alot of guys have gone and done this swap and can give you a complete list for a tranny swap. Don't forget if you install that rear end you will need a tuner to recalibrate your speedo for the 3.73 gears.

Cant swap the tranny as the 3650 doesn't bolt to anything but mod motors. So you can use the rear end and that fact that it has gears already is nice so do that.
