Default 8.8 rear end

So i have the opportunity to get an 8.8 rear end. Just want to know if this was a good deal.

Got one from a 99 Cobra with 3.27 gears. It's missing one axle it was robbed for another rearend. But your axles out of your 7.5 will fit right in. I will take $150 for it. LMK. It has a nice posi as well it is complete minus one axle and the brake calipers but all that stuff is on your 7.5 in your 2004.

for a v6 car an 8.8 swap is a badass upgrade. but from a 99 cobra that's an IRS setup. It's probably a 98 cobra. You'll need correct cobra rear brake calipers, caliper mounting brackets, brake lines, the axle and you may need 12mm control arm bushings and bolts.

Theres a slight chance its from a GT. Were in process of figuring it out.

But a question what is involved in swapping in the 8.8.

you could use the stock brakes, lines, and my stock axle right?

am i missing anything else? I dont want to get the 8.8 rear end and end up getting screwed over and having to spend even more money. Like he said its pretty much just the rearend without the axle and brakes etc.
