4:10's are your answer! After that add a cold air intake and tuner and you'll really be happy

I'd go with an XCal2 with a custom tune from Brenspeed, or whoever.

Look into getting a custom dyno tune, if you don't have one in your area, then a mail order tune is fine. brenspeed.com.

great info on gears. that is next thing i am adding. i have a JLT CAI and I love it. what is stock gear in gt? and what is difference between 3.55 up to 4.56? what is better for what application? i am thinking of 4.10s also. how easy/difficult are they to change in a garage?

JLT CAI....how much did that make a difference? did you need to buy a flasher/tuner

m trying to figure out which CAI to go with...
can't justify paying 700 for FRPP when I am only going to get 5 or 10rwhp...

I think stock gears are a 3:55

just the CAI won't make much of a difference, but add a tune with it and you will see a legit 15rwhp.... Maybe even more.

rayfromtexas.....I don't think you'd need to go anymore than 4:10's unless all you do is drag race at the track. You might be able to get away with 4.56's in a 4v that has an extra 1,000rpm's, but I think that is probably too much gear for normal driving
