i found the perfect car.
if i can get it before someone else does, i'll have a little information on the vehicle to share.
all i can say for now is, it's race ready.
wish me luck.

be careful buying "race ready" cars cause it might mean it was beat to ****!

those weren't his terms but i'm sure anyone would consider it well within it's rights to be called fast.
it was a show car, the guy has 4 cars and doesn't have anything else he wants to do with it.
he said it'd never been taken to a track, but is equipped to race.

maybe i'm just excited from the thought of the vehicle as it is.
maybe i'm just anxious to get it before anyone else does.
maybe i should change my pants cause this small sticky wet spot i got from the car is getting uncomfortable.

the kbb.com value for the car stock is $1k more than what he's asking.

is there like a shift kit i can install to go from manual to auto, so like if i didn't feel like shifting i could switch over to manual?

and if i drop the 4.10 gears in, what will that do to my top end speed?

there is no transmission for the mustang that has triptronic type shifting...its a 5 speed manual or 4 speed auto (99-04 gt's). top speed of a mustang gt is about 150 stock (proven by yours truly). top speed of a mustang gt with 4.10's is about 140 proven by yours truly..lol.)

for manual transmissions, there are short throw shifters that allow you to shift faster and have a shorter throw.

for automatic transmissions, there are a few thing. Stall converter's and the J-mod. i dont know the specifics cause i dont have an auto but it basically makes the auto perform better.

the following mods should be done from the get-go.
-4.10's ring and pinion
-Xcalibrator tuner (the newest one, either livewire or version 3) and a custom dyno tune
-Full Length Subframe Connectors.
-Exhaust (if you choose to do headers, only longtube, 2v gt's dont benefit from shorties, its your choice of x pipe or h-pipe and catback.)

sweet, so the gears won't hurt me that bad as far as top end is concerned.

what are the subframe connectors for?
