i'm getting kinda bored with my dumps, so i was thinking about uptting my tips back on, will it make the car sound diff?? ohh also i need to put cats on my car (dads rule) and was wondering what that would change sound wise??

 

Get rid of the dumps, they look stupid.

As for the cats, i have a catted X and my setup sounds amazing.

 

How do they look stupid if you can't even see them? as long as you have a V6 bumper on it, then it should look fine. It's all about opinion, but if you don't mind not having tips, then why go through the trouble of putting them back on.

 

well i have a 97 soo the rears look the same to me. so it doesn't matter to me if i have tips or not, and the trouble part. it doesn't bother me. i like to "play" with the plasma tourch and welder so the trouble for me is actually fun

 

I have dumps. I can't say they look any particular way since you can't see them.

Sxyc... the tips will mellow the sound out. the cats will mellow it out more.

 

im pretty mixed on dumps on a mod motor. love them on my cammed fox though. cats will just make the sound more chill, laid back, quiter. tips will just direct the sound out the back of the car, making it generally quieter except maybe from behind.

 

you won't hear it as much, since the sound is going straight back, instead of hitting the ground and going everywhere.
