Default stock spoiler cut?

i got an 01 gt vert...was driving down i4 on the way back to work and i noticed a load sound and looked back and i saw it....

my spoiler was shaking? i get off I4 and go home, around 40mph and dont notice anything really...i get home and i check my stock spoiler.....

its like SLIT from one end to the other and i was able to use my fingers and lift the top of the cut....my wing is split from one side to the other?

is the only thing i can do is go buy a stock wing or a diff wing to replace? ((((if so...price? or is it time to go wingless? tho wingless is ugly on a vert imo)))

im sad.

eh...just remove it and plug or fill the holes. I think our cars look better wingless.

I disagree. I think it looks hideous without a wing. Like something is missing.

NewTakeOff.com has painted wings i believe.

to each his own. I'd rather not have a wing that does nothing to help my car.

Yeah i mean thats kinda an iffy statement. I'm opposite with you zig, haha. Even though the side scoops, hood scoops, whatever scoops are non-functional, it just looks good. I mean, if you didn't buy the car for looks, you'd have a hoopty with a Cobra Jet in it. :-).

look at my scoops. The stock GT scoops are more like saddlebags. but again, to each his own. I nixed my wing...hood scoop and saddlebags. I like it clean.

It looked real good in person bro. I'm not a huge fan of wingless stangs, but w/ the hoodscoop and side side scoops gone, it looked pretty nice. That, and the fact I really miss my mustang now, haha.

Good to meet ya man.

I love wingless mustangs for some reason, but i think it MIGHT look goofy with the top down and no wing, maybe alittle too straight? so imma photoshop some pics i have and see how it loooks...

IF i got another wing... http://www.stage3motorsports.com/pro..._(4_Post).html because id also want to get the rousch front bumper in the near future...

I've decided that I'm gonna go wingless ((prolly 2 months))til I can buy that rousch wing and someday the rousch front

Any idea how much a wing paint job cost?

also, do I just unscrew the spoiler from the trunk and what do i buy to fill the wholes? and does my trunk need repainted or will it not look horrible under where the spoiler use to be?

you can go to your local hardware store and pick up some rubber plugs of some sort...I dunno what they are actually called or normally used for, but I know they are out there.

I had a body shop do the work on my trunk. well...the dealership I bought my car from did it at their place, per my request.
