Know how to install throttle pressure cable?
My 93 mustang sometimes wont shift and if it does it will shift late and there will be a jerk when it finally shifts. I took it to a local mechanic and was told it was the throttle cable. So I bought the throttle cable that goes from the throttle body to the pedal and then was told it was the throttle pressure cable that goes from the throttle body to the trans. If anyone knows how to install these or knows of a website or anything that will tell me how to accomplish this task please help. I dont want to pay to get this done

For simple little things like this a haynes or chilton manual are your best friend and tell you everything you need and are really awesome for stuff like this. Chiltons are better then a haynes manual if you ask me though. Hanyes seems to miss some important parts sometimes. But every auto parts store has them go grab one it will step by step tell you what to do and how to adjust it etc..

Where did your TV cable go?
your TV cable should be part of the throttle cable/cruise control assembly? The issues you are talking about sounds like your valve pressure is too high and needs adjusted (the adjustment is done at the throttle body by adjusting the TV cable).

sorry have not responded in a while. I still have the tv cable but I a local mechanic and friend told me thats what the problem was so I went out looking for a new one. let me tell you they are hard to find. i dont know about the valve pressure needed adjustment I just went with what they told me. they also said that when the gas pedal is pushed down the tv cable is pushed out from the throttle body then when you take your foot off the gas it is supposed to go back into the throttle body but mine does not because the previous owner of the car let it sit for almost 2 years without driving it
