throttle cable sticking

Default throttle cable sticking

i put in my t-body and plenum combo and now the gas pedal rite before it engages has like almost a sticky spot i sprayed the **** out of the t-body with wd-40 and nuthing same thing. the cable is a little lose like about a 1/2 inch to inch of play so maybe it is like snagging on somthing idk any help will be welcomed

Mine does the exact same thing bro. It doesn't make sense, but then again I haven't looked in to it yet. Makes for pretty shitty ride quality cuz the car jerks when you tap the gas...annoying.

Is yours an Accufab too?

Wonder what the fix is...

yeah it makes for a really shitty ride and no its a pro products 75 mm
i have no clue what to do i think i might just go to ford and have a mechanic check it out how long have you had the problem

Since I've installed it, which is a few months now. The problem isn't serious, it's just annoying. Maybe this weekend I'll look in to it to see what's up with it. Wish someone had some words of wisdom for us!

guys check your gas pedals, there has been some problem wth the metal pivot pin breaking away from the plastic part of the pedal, very common problem. also it could be from the aftermarket throttlbdy not being machined right, re-install your stock one and see if it still does it.

well idk if its fully fixed or not but it really isnt that harsh anymore ive had the t-body on for about a week now and every night ive sprayed it with
wd-40 i think it might just have to loosen up a little do you know if there is anything i could spray inside the throttle body to try and loosen the inside up?
