Default Steeda Tri-Ax install

I was looking into getting a steeda triax shifter for my 95 cobra w/ Tremec T5. Does it just drop right in, or does anything have to be adjusted? Just wondering, because I'm trying to decide if I should do it myself or if I should have my mechanic do it.

Also, any feedback on this shifter? Is it a little smoother than the stock one?

Thanks,
Brent

it will be notchy as crap at first then it smooths out they all do it. Its pretty easy to install around an hour to 1 1/2 hours taking your sweet time. Hardest part was getting the stocker off you gotta yank the **** out of it. They come with good instructions to.

I have one i like it alot and no missed 2-3 shifts since with that nice stiffer spring they use.

Here is the install instructions as you can see its easy to do.

bonehead simple. Make sure you have a tube of black RTV to seal the base and don't forget to transfer the little plastic dealie off the bottom ball.
