Difference horsepower wise between gt and mach 1
#3
sorry for not answering your question
Mach 1: about 305
Gt: about 260 stock
Btw: those are at the crank. The big difference between the engines is the amount of valves and compression ratio, something like 10.1:1 against something like 9.3:1. I'm sure ill be corrected

Well you dont pay that much more for some emblems, grille, chin spoiler, new springs, and a shaker hood. They got to improve the engine to back up the price
#7
yeah that is very true.

thanks for the info... may not be the correct thread to ask this, but i have the borla cat back aggressive exahust, and i was wondering about the X-pipe borla offers. Any suggestions? is this a good way to go, or should i look at something else? http://www.borla.com/applications/lo...TX_Pipe/60092/

You can never go wrong with borla they are top of the line, if you can afford the rediculous cost. I personally like h-pipes they have a more muscle car sounding exhaust tone. x-pipes have a more european raspy sound, but its all personal taste. I think most people on these boards have o/r x-pipes

cool, where can i find a good H-pipe? the muscle car sounding exhaust is what im trying to go for. i like the loud but deep sound. dont get me wrong, the borla cat back def. gave me a much better sound.. but u know how it is, once u go loud, u always want to go louder..lol.
yeah lol afterwhile whats loud seems to not be so loud to you

I got my Mac h-pipe (off road) from Brenspeed on ebay. I was like $150 shipped. I'm pretty sure it should bolt right up to your borla catback but I could be wrong.

Here's what you would sound like with a Mac ProChamber and Borla Stingers. Sounds awesome imo.

thanks man, i'll look into some... By them being off road pipes, that could make me fail the state emission test right?
