Thumbs down Problems with the stang...

Okay so yesterday it rain like a mother down here and it's been a while since we've seen rain like this. Anyways on my venture home there were so areas where the water was pretty deep. I went through them with no problems. I normally don't like going through big spots of water but I had no choice as traffic was hectic and there was not other route home for me. I got home yesterday fine with no problems. Today however i'm a bit confused, the car is fine in everyway except when I give it some gas the tranny feels like it slips. It mild but enough for me to feel it. What can this be? Water might have gotten in the tranny? Some that have been here a while know my stang is dropped amost three inches. What can this be?

I had this happen to a family members minivan the last time we got flooded and it lasted a few months before tranny finally went out. AT the time we did not now but when they took it apart there was water in there. I would take it somewhere for an oil change.
